These two bowls just came out of the kiln. The one on the left will be at the Quinte Arts Council Gallery and the other will be at the Belleville Public Library Gallery for the Arts Council's Expressions show May 7 to 28. They were made by rolling out clay coloured with mason stain into marbled patterned slabs. Each bowl is unique to the random swirl of colours created when the stained clays are rolled together.

These bowls were made for the Gleaner's Food Bank Empty Bowls event on Easter. They are made by stacking light and dark clay together on the potter's wheel or by stacking clay stained different colours and throwing them on the wheel so they swirl together.
