Picton in December

Once again, Vickie's Veggies and Honey Pie and Herbals organized a fantastic Christmas Craft show in Picton. This year's dates were Saturday December 11th and Sunday December 12th.

It was overtop of Books and Company on Main Street.

New Christmas Show November 21st

The newest Christmas Craft Show in Belleville was at the Corbyville River Inn on November 21st from 11 to 4. This trunk sale with an eclectic mixture of hand-made items from Quinte area artisans was very busy from the minute the doors opened. Watch for Mistletoe Magic next November! This show replaces the beautiful Home for the Holidays Show that used to run at the Empire. Barb Forgie, the organizer is thinking about holding another show there again in the Spring in time for Mother's Day.

The Showroom

Things are slowly getting done in the garage conversion. The heat, a quick trip to Stowe and a septic mishap (not ours) slowed things down. I cannot imagine trying to build a house from scratch. Even with our new little showroom, we had to make so many decisions about materials and the placement of windows and doors. We're hoping that it all gets insulated and painted before Christmas.

Renovations are underway

If you're driving through beautiful Prince Edward County, stop by the Grapevine Gallery at the intersection of Danforth and Swamp College just north of Wellington. Kim and Loretta have a wide assortment fine art including Perry Potts pottery, dichroic glass jewellery, paintings, wood turnings, drawings and miniature inukshuks. This year, they are moving the gallery onto Main Street in Wellington.
They are open Thursday to Monday.

Sheep Dog Trials at Grass Creek Park

Visit us at the most interesting venue of the year: The KingstonSheepdog Trials.
The Arts and Crafts tent is one of many interesting things to see and do at the trials. Check out the City of Kingston web site for more details.

Show Schedule for Summer 2010

We will be in Picton, Ontario on the last Thursday in July...
July 29th from 9AM until 8PM. Come visit our booth in the arena.
August 7 & 8, we'll be at the Kingston Sheepdog Trials.
This is a great venue. Lots of interesting things to do and beautiful crafts to buy, as well.

Most weekends in August, you can find us on the Kingston Market.
Visit our stall between 8 and 4.
